At the Helena Mineral Society there
is a lot to do!
- At the monthly meeting:
- Find other people interested in gems and minerals
- Valuable educational programs
- Get expert help with gem and mineral identification
- Wire wrapping classes
- Field trips in our area
- Mineral collecting done right
HMS sponsors many activities, including the annual mineral show.
NOTE: Location and Date change for monthly meetings
Meetings will be held at the Neighborhood Center, 200 Cruse Avenue on the third Thursday of the month.

September 6th - Miss Beverly sapphire claim annual dig
Boats will be available at the
Devil’s Elbow boat dock beginning at 8:30am.
Screens and wash tubs will be provided on site. Buckets
to carry water from the lake to the dig site will also be
provided. Bring your own shovel. Due to limited space
on the boats, club members are asked to limit their
personal gear to what they can carry in one trip. Don’t
forget to bring lunch, drinking water, sun-screen and
