At the Helena Mineral Society there
is a lot to do!
- At the monthly meeting:
- Find other people interested in gems and minerals
- Valuable educational programs
- Get expert help with gem and mineral identification
- Wire wrapping classes
- Field trips in our area
- Mineral collecting done right
HMS sponsors many activities, including the annual mineral show.
Monthly meetings are held at the Neighborhood Center, 200 Cruse Avenue on the third Thursday of the month.
The next meeting will be held Thursday, July 16th.

July 11th - Club Picnic at the Sally Ann Crystal Claim.
Those wanting to dig prior to the picnic can meet at 8 a.m. at the west end of the
Lundy Center to caravan to the claim. The picnic will begin between
12:30 or 1 p.m. All club members are welcome to attend even those
that are not digging. The Club provides fried chicken and water. The
rest is potluck so everyone bring a dish to share.
